Before joining Ellis Capital Management in 2006, Jami served ten years in the United States Army as a noncommissioned officer. Her work experience over the years includes serving in various accounting capacities with the most recent as an accounting assistant specializing in small business accounting and taxation.

Jami has completed the three-year program at Cannon Trust School allowing her to seek the designation as a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA). Jami attends various client focused seminars and workshops. Jami is also pursuing her bachelor degree in finance.
